		<description>So funny - I was digging through my &quot;drafts&quot; folder in my e-mail and discovered that I hadn&#039;t actually mailed out my response to your very kind e-mail! I&#039;m in the stickiest of situations - I make just enough money to not qualify for help from any of the foundations that might normally help folks in my predicament (including the assistance program set up by Genentech - a company that&#039;s very grumpy with the docs working on my eye, thanks to an NPR interview done with one of the associates in the office.) It&#039;s a real pain in the patoot (and the eye), although the Avastin is like a miracle for me. I hear that, maybe in a year, it&#039;ll be FDA- and insurance-approved, so other folks hopefully won&#039;t have this experience... we shall see...</description>
